There are few places where the Christian witness can affect life so clearly as outside an abortion mill.   Praying, singing, providing information - even just standing as witness all have the potential to save lives.  Our presence makes it clear to all who approach that the children's lives truly matter to us.  In addition, many abortion minded mothers hear only the pro-death side of the argument until they actually come to the facility.  Without the pleading of the on-site witness they may never realize there are other options.

While George Tiller's mill was open we took it even further by sowing seeds of faith through gifts and artwork designed to reveal the inherent value of the children.  For gifts we offered handmade baby blankets and stuffed diaper bags.   Each one represented our abiding hope for another safe mother and child; literally, the work of our hands for the breath of their lives.

One never knows how much good one can do until one tries.  Where the children are concerned, inaction literally ensures their deaths.  That is what "choice" has brought our country not some idealistic "freedom", but death and destruction.  The sooner we return to a true appreciation for life, the better.
