If you have already had an abortion, both forgiveness and healing are available to you though Jesus Christ.  He not only cares for you, He desires to meet you right where you are, forgive and restore you.  As God, He alone, is able to do this.  We cannot earn it nor will we ever deserve it. It is His gift.  A gift He longs to impart to us.  A gift He suffered the cross to provide.  All that we have to do to receive it is to embrace His authority over our lives, turn away from our disobedience, accept His forgiveness and avail ourselves to His direction.

By embracing His authority over us and turning from our sins, we allow Him to forgive us.  By availing ourselves to His direction, we allow Him to correct the course of our lives and heal us.

Under no circumstances should you consider yourself unforgivable.  This is a lie of the devil.  He wants you to think that so that he can have you; to continue to torment you; to destroy you.  Even he knows just how precious you are to God. Consider it this way, no loving Father gives up His only Son for something of little value.  The Bible tells us that He, " . . . so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."  A great sacrifice signifying His great love.

Your future is as bright as you will let it be.  There is peace and even joy with God.  It can be yours if you will allow Him to give it to you.

Consider this prayer as a new beginning full of His love:

Heavenly Father, I come before you today seeking forgiveness that can only come from You.   I accept Your Son, Jesus, as payment for my sins and Lord of my life.  I ask for Your healing and direction.  I ask for Your peace.  Deliver me, Lord, from the hands of darkness seeking to destroy me.   Make me Your own.  In Jesus name, amen.

If you accepted Jesus before you had your abortion, waste no time in going directly to Him for your forgiveness, restoration and healing.   Re-affirm your desire to be under His authority.  Remember that as God, it is what He says that matters not what we think.  Accept His forgiveness.  Don't let the devil deceive you into thinking it can't be done.  It is just another of his lies.  You are still precious to God.

As one who has made many mistakes, I can readily attest to His willingness and ability to forgive us.  It is not that I deserve to do the things that I now do, rather that He has forgiven and restored me.
